The trick is to complete each puzzle with maximum points on the first shot. Totally doable but requires strategic analysis. A very satisfying experience with a chill vibe.

The music, simple black and white colors, and the simple yet critical thinking game all come together for a great and beautiful game. I'm surprised it isn't more popular. It's definitely worth the 99 cents.

This is such a relaxing and mentally stimulating game at the same time. The movements are so natural and the lovely soundtrack prevents the game from ever becoming too frustrating. This game is so simple yet so complex!

I purchased the iPhone version on my phone and then wanted to play it on my iPad but it crashes all the time -Ugh!!! Please fix this problem or I'll delete this fun game.

Excellent and challenging puzzles with tons of levels and visually striking to boot. Not to mention that it's one of the few games that I don't mind having the sound on for.

The game mechanics are simple, but the solutions to a level can be tricky. There's a bit of creativity needed. This is a fun game when you have a few minutes to spare; recommended.

The ads other users complained about have been removed. Contre Jour strikes a good balance between simplicity and complexity. There are only a few game mechanics, yet the levels are cleverly designed to combine them in inventive ways. Includes many levels. I've played through 4 of 5 worlds and it hasn't stagnated or worn out its welcome. Recommended.

excellent gameplay and concept, beautiful limbo-esque graphics and brilliant sound make a great all-around game. touch controls on ground manipulations can be frustrating sometimes, but doesnt really detract from its finer points. 4.5 stars.

The bubble ads that take a lot of space of the menu ruin the style of the game. At least you guys can have a "More Games" button, or something. But overall, an amazing game!

This game will always be a favorite of mine and was one of my first games on the appstore. Pls look at the reviews here. People hate ur bubbles! This game will die if u dont take them out! Pls what u done is taken a beautiful, amazing, magical experience and destroyed it with ur adverts. Whos stupid idea was that?

Although the controls can be frustrating, Contre Jour is a stunning game with beautiful music. It falls into the "collect 3 things before reaching the exit" genre but does it with more style than most. Unfortunately this will probably be the last Chillingo game I purchase. The ads are intrusive and ruin the game's aesthetic. Not in a game I PAID for, please.

I really love this game, so when the iOS update came out & Contre Jour wasn't compatible, I was pretty disappointed. Fast forward to now, when I find it working again but there are these extremely annoying and intrusive bubble ads covering the screen. WTH? Usually I pay money for games because I DON'T want that kind of crap. Please fix!

Paid for this awhile back got stuck and quit playing it. Went back to play only to discover that some update inserted some stupidly annoying 'ad bubbles'!?! Sorry but you can definitely be assured I WON'T be buying anymore of your products when you pull stupid stuff like that. Weak.

This little physics game leaves all the others in the dust. From the graphics to the music, it's casual and thought provoking, without demanding a lot of my time. Totally worth the .99 price tag.

IPhone/IPod 5 support

I have purchased both the normal and the HD version and have been enjoying the game for some time befor.e.. however, now i installed it back, tried on my iPhone 4s and my iPad but the game keeps crashing, i tried both versions on both iDevices.... it crashes immediately at start! Fix Please!

I love the game. It's incredibly relaxing and visually stunning. However, the app has started to crash incessantly on me now. I can only play it for about 2 minutes before it crashes. Please fix this! The problem has led me to uninstall the app! I want to play it though. If youre wondering whether you should buy it or not, i would say buy for sure. Its like cut the rope but more fun, in my opinion.

Hi chillingo your games are great ad this game is especially great but one bug fix I recommend for you to solve is the closing glitch as I call it because when I'm jamming, playing the game, it closes unexpectedly, many of the users of this game may have no problems , but for me 4 stars is good, it'll be 5 stars as soon as this gaming glitch is fixed. This game is really fun and pretty challenging! Really makes you use that brain of yours. And I don't see how some reviews on here say that some levels have impossible odds to get a perfect on every level. I've played about 45 levels and have been able to get a perfect. Definitely worth it. I will say though that at times your fingers get too close trying to multiple things at once that it won't register sometimes. I really love this game though!!!

Absolutely enjoyable

Beautiful graphics, fairly original idea. It was really fun at first but got too challenging too fast. The sound effects are just like some heard in "Abe's Odyssey" (PS1).
